Loraine Pearl (Beeman) Wilkinson, 97, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024. She was born February 16, 1927, in Montague, the daughter of Marvin and Edith (Vardanburg) Beeman.
Loraine's life was vibrant thanks to her deep passions for crafts, traveling, and reading. She poured her love into baking, her kitchen often filled with the comforting aroma of freshly baked treats, and she nurtured her garden with the same care, finding serenity and satisfaction in every thriving plant. The simple joys of life were her treasures, each one savored and cherished.
In all the moments in between, Loraine found joy in spending time with her best friend, Jean Beeman. Their friendship was a treasured part of her life, filled with shared laughter, heartfelt conversations, and countless wonderful memories.
At Kysor in Rothbury, Loraine was known for her dedication and enthusiasm, channeling her skills into her work and contributing meaningfully to the company's success. Her commitment and passion were evident in everything she did, leaving a lasting impression on both her colleagues and the workplace.
Loraine is survived by: daughter, Barbara (Dave) Bedau; daughter-in-law, Kathy Wilkinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Stevens, Matthew Blamer, Kristy Wilkinson, Katherine Miller, Andrea Procunier, Kimberly Carnevale, and Brent Bedau; many great grandchildren and extended family members.
Loraine was preceded in death by: her husband, Alvin Wilkinson; son, Martin Wilkinson; brothers, Marvin Beeman, Paul Beeman, and Roger Beeman; sisters, Mary Beeman, and Betty Beeman.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 8945 Stebbins Street, Montague, Michigan 49437.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at St. James Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 8945 Stebbins Street, Montague, Michigan 49437.
Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
