Karin Jahn passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 12th, 2021.  Karin was born on March 3, 1943 to Henry and Anneliese (Klenk) Zander in Darmstadt, Germany.  Karin married the love of her life Bobby on March 12, 1962 in Darmstadt, Germany.  Karin had her first daughter, Regina in Darmstadt in 1962.  They moved to Montague, MI in 1963. Karin had their other daughter, Anneliese in Muskegon, MI in 1964.  Karin became a US citizen in 1998.

Karin worked at Joann's Restaurant for 25 years, retiring in 2005.  Many in the community knew Karin as the "German Girl".  Karin loved to spend time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed camping, dancing, karaoke and relaxing on the lake.

Karin is survived by her daughter, Anneliese Hart (Ron); son-in-law, Ed Wilson; granddaughters, Jennifer Wilson and Nicole Wilson (Justin Milner); four great-grandchildren; nephew, Mike Causey (Margarita) and niece, Deborah Causey (Martin). She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anneliese Zander; sister, Hilge Causey (Mike); husband, Bobby Jahn and daughter, Regina Wilson. A celebration of life will be held at the Montague VFW on January 8, 2022 from 1 pm - 4 pm.
