Schmelzer

My life has been exceptional -- good family – friends as well,
Only nursing training - was just 3 years of Hell.
I started church at 2 years old – My neighbor took me there;
And to this day, I'm grateful for church and friends who care.
I am an Alma College grad with a master's from Kazoo,
I loved my years of nursing, my hopes had all come true.
I joined the Service League for one, University group was two,
Women's Club number three, and that is just a few.
In Whitehall, I was chosen to work on Board of Review,
To City Council was elected to serve in Montague.
Taught Sunday School for many years and bridge, my favorite game.
A jazzy car, a GTO - all were my claim to fame!
A loving mate, four "perfect" kids, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-great
Now who could ask for any more, as I knock on Heaven's gate?
