Joyce Irene Grey, 79, of Ferry, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026, after her battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 24, 1947, in Muskegon, the daughter of Liemiul and Mildren (Carnes) NcKinnon.

Joyce worked at Howmet for 40 years and was a member of the United Aerospace Worker Union. Joyce was at one time the Ferry Township Supervisor and Assessor, she played on a women’s softball league, and was a member of the Hart Fraternal order of Eagles (F.O.E.). She enjoyed dabbling in woodworking and sitting in their swing under the Cedars.

Joyce is survived by: her loving husband of 60 years, Daniel (Dan) Grey; children, Daniel (Danny) Lee Grey Jr. and troy Lee Grey; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by: her parents, Liemiul and Mildred; brothers, Mike and Marvin; sister, JoAme (Brock).

Cremation has taken place; no services are scheduled at this time.
