Joseph T. Lewandowski, age 68, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday, January 5, 2020.  He was born October 25, 1951 in Detroit to Leonard J. Lewandowski and Elsie M. (Doran) Lewandowski.

Joe was a self-employed carpenter.  He married Valerie (Brush) on July 15, 1983.  He loved gardening.  He had been employed years ago at Lloyd J. Harriss Pie Company and Oceana Canning Company and several other companies.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie; his children, Eric (Mae) Lewandowski, Katie (Kyle) Blohm and Beth Lewandowski; his grandchildren, Gabriel Lewandowski, Vaughn Lewandowski,  Kadence, Kyler and Kylie Blohm, Kimberly Lewandowski, Christopher Gray, Jr., and Ian Gray; his brother, Leonard Lewandowski; and sisters, Bev (Richard) Hardie and Martha "Marty" (Steve) Burchfield; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard and his parents.

There will be no services for Joseph.
