Joan Lorraine Erickson, 95, formerly of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 8, 1931, in Detroit, the daughter of John and Violet (Winters) Current.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am, Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan 49455, with Pastor Dave Sill officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm, Friday, September 18, 2026 at Harris Funeral Home and one hour before services on Saturday. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shelby.
