James M. "Jim" Tufts, age 30, passed away June 23, 2021 in Muskegon.  Jim was born October 3, 1990 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  He was a 2008 graduate of Shelby High School.  When you were with Jim, you always felt you were loved.  Jim was a talented steel fabricator and excelled at everything he did.

He will be greatly missed by his parents, John Tufts and Rachel Nichols; his brother, Parker Tufts; his sister, Willow Tufts; his grandmother, Penny Nichols; his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Jim was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Nichols and grandfather and grandmother, Hiram and Patricia Tufts.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, 1 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm, both at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.  Pastor Dan Barnum-Steggerda will officiate.
