James R. "Jim Dog" Davidson, age 50, of Freesoil passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 after being injured in a traffic accident in Mason County on  September 2nd.

Jim Dog was born February 26, 1969 in Muskegon.  He was raised in Muskegon.  He had a lot of great friends and family and loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and making people laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea; son, Elijah Davidson; daughter, Dominique Davidson; two grandchildren;  his mother, Jennifer Sherrod;  sisters, Melissa Cherry, Regina Sherrod and Jessica Davidson; and brother, David Harvey.  He was preceded in death by his father, Myron Davidson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21st, 11 am at Shelby United Methodist Church, Shelby, MI.
