Fredric C. Bennitt, age 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He was born November 25, 1948, to William "Pat" Bennitt and Florence (Cober) Bennitt.

Fredric is survived by brother Robert Bennitt; his three children, Scott Bennitt and wife Virginia, Kelli Daniero and husband Joe, and Kerri Brown and husband Carl.   He has six grandchildren, Brandon Bennitt, Brooke Hinkle, Holden Scheidel, Ian Scheidel, Maci Brown and Brecken Daniero; and one great grandchild Olive Hinkle.  He is predeceased by his brothers William (Bill) Bennitt, Rex Bennitt, and sisters Lois Gil, Marilyn Culp.

There will be a family only viewing on June 4th at Harris Funeral Home, 267 N Michigan Avenue, Shelby, MI 49455.  The family wishes at this time to not receive any floral arrangements.
