Mrs. Evelyn Dorris Leimback, 93, of Hart passed away February 19th, 2022 in Taylor Michigan. She was born September 8, 1928 in White House, Tennessee, to James and Dona Mae (Cook) Dorris.  She was the youngest of 17 brothers and sisters.

Evelyn married Alvin Leo Leimback October 10, 1945.   They settled in Gibraltar and raised their three children in Riverview and retired to Hart. They were married for 61 years, until his passing in February of 2006. She worked for ACE in Riverview and Lobbs a florist shop for many years. Evelyn was involved with the Girl Scouts, enjoyed camping and traveling, especially the South and Southwest. She loved listening to music, her favorite was country and the Grand Ole Opry.

Evelyn is survived by her children Bonnie (Ben) Tront, Dan (Beverly) Leimback, and Raymond (Myriam) Leimback; grandchildren, Brian (Tara) Tront, Jason (Kelly) Leimback, Jeremy (Molly) Leimback, Justin (Jillian) Leimback, Tiffany (Andrew) Perlberg and Demetrial (Chip) Williams; sister-in-law Lucille Pitlanish; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and all of her brothers and sisters.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her live will be May 14th, 2022, 11:00 am at Ferndale Cemetery, Riverview, MI
