Evelyn M. Clark, age 86, of Hart, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Hart. Evelyn was born June 27, 1935 in Crystal Township to John and Cora (Powers) Hoffman. Evelyn was raised in Crystal Township and Hart. She married Eddie R. Clark on June 25, 1955. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2007. The Clarks lived on Lake Road east of Hart their entire married life. Evelyn was employed many years ago at Westfield Summers and Michigan Freeze Pack. The job she enjoyed the most was babysitting for families for many years.

She is survived by her children, Ron (Sharon) Clark, Frank (Stacie) Clark, and Shirley Moore; stepson, Eddie (Pam) Clark, Jr; brother, Jim Hoffman; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jerry Clark, her brothers, Henry Hoffman, Albert Hoffman and Harold Hoffman, and her sisters, Mary Watts, Lucille Bromley, and Dorothy Southgate.

A celebration of life for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at the Oceana Eagles. The time will be announced later. The family would like to thank the Oceana County Medical Care Facility and Harbor Hospice for going "above and beyond" in their care for Evelyn in her final days.
