Mr. Emmanuel Rodriguez, 41, formerly of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, April 22, 2023.  He was born September 17, 1981, in Shelby, the son of Roman and Elvira (Vasquez) Rodriguez.

Manny was a person who always saw the best in everyone and embraced life to the fullest. His empathy for people in all walks of life, made an impact on everyone who knew him and was loved by many. Manny was family-oriented and always looked forward to spending time with his children, parents, and siblings. God was always present in his prayers and was an advocate for interpreting scriptures when reflecting on his life's journey. Manny enjoyed fishing, two-tracking on dirt roads, dancing, playing board games and having deep conversations with family and friends. Manny will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him, but we celebrate that he is now resting in eternal peace.

Emmanuel is survived by:  his parents, Roman and Elvira Rodriguez; children, Emmanuel Rodriguez Jr., Yvette Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez and Paulina Rodriquez; sisters, Loraine Prado, Gabriela Rodriguez, and Daniela Rodriguez; brothers, Roman Rodriguez Jr. and Carlos Rodriguez; nephews, Kristian Roman Rodriguez, Gabino Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, Miguel Prado Jr., Said Galvan, Carlos Sebastian Rodriguez, Elvis G, and Ronin Aguirre; nieces, Natalie Loraine Rodriguez, Kimberly Elizabeth Rodriguez, Nayeli Monique Rodriguez, Evelyn Alexis Prado, Kassandra Prado, Ximena Galvan, Robin Aguirre, and Raven Aguirre.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 316 S. Peach Avenue, Hart, Michigan, 49420, with Father Phillip Sliwinski presiding.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until the start of services, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
