Carol Herin, age 70, of Hesperia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 22, 2020 at home.  She was born Brenda Carol Thompson on August 18, 1949 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Charles and Dorothy (Howard) Thompson.

Carol lived in Kentucky and Indiana before moving to Hesperia upon her marriage to Ronald Herin on May 5, 1979.  She had been employed at Dura Automotive and also at Peterson Farms.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; children, Teresa (Nethaniel) Christensen, Margaret (Lance) Hollars and Robert Thompson, Jr; grandchildren, Errika, Izzabella, Gabriel, Tiffani, Sabrina, Alan, Brittany, Teigen, Brennan and Braden; great-grandchildren, Tygar, Tysan and Helix; brothers, Greg (Connie) Thompson and  John Thompson; sister, Deborah (Perry) Murdoch; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Eversole.

A memorial service for Carol will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020, 11 am at her home.
