Beverly Larson, age 93, of New Era, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Muskegon.  She was born July 19, 1926 in North Muskegon to Bouke and Jennie (Noordhoek) Buwalda.

She was raised and graduated from high school in North Muskegon and worked at Continental Motors.  Beverly moved to Stony Lake area in 1972 and married John Larson.  She worked as a secretary at GTE telephone company.  She enjoyed the peace and quiet on the farm and was very content with her everyday life.

She is survived by her stepsons, Alan Larson and Eric (Andrea) Larson; granddaughter, Erin (Eric) Andresen; grandsons, Alan James Larson, Cole, Austin and Brock Begnaud and Jax Junker; and sister, Barbra (Bill) Rathbun.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2002 and siblings, Pete, John, Mary and Charlotte.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 6-8 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.  Visitation will continue Friday, August 2, 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Pastor Sarah Samuelson will officiate.  Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 5631 W.
