On Saturday, July 23, 2022, Armando Tiburcio Gutierrez, 54, of Hart, passed away unexpectedly.  He was born July 7, 1968, in Yuba City, California, the son of Rafael Gutierrez and Armandina Zamora.  However, he was raised and lived in Michigan the majority of his life.

Armando was well known for his workmanship and work ethic.  He was an outstanding grandpa, supportive husband, proud brother, faithful father, and loving son.

Armando took great pride and joy in his family and his home. Throughout his life he spent his time working on outdoor projects and essentially building nothing into something; creating a foundation and a home for his family.  A better way to put it, he was a very gifted craftsman. He touched and impacted more lives than he ever knew, he had a potential that was endless, and had so much more to give and receive.  Armando's legacy will live on through his children, but his presence and touch will be immensely missed by all.

Armando is survived by: his wife, Paula Gutierrez; his mother, Armandina Zamora; brother, Juan Cortez; sister, Laura Gutierrez; son, Armando Gutierrez; son, Daniel Gutierrez; daughter, Priscilla Gutierrez; daughter, Jacqueline Gutierrez; daughter, Rachel Gutierrez; son, Matthew (Makaila) Gutierrez; nieces, Nina Marie, Julie Salazar, Rosa Gutierrez; 13 grandkids; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Armando was preceded in death by: his sister-in-law, Laura Arjona; father-in-law, Gregorio L. Ramirez; grandfather, Isauro Zamora; grandmother, Maria Godines; and son, Joshua Gutierrez.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, MI 49455. Private interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Shelby. A luncheon will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, from 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM, at Faith Christian Fellowship, 400 South Hart Street, Hart.
