Wendell McGowan

Wendell Gene McGowan of Hesperia, Michigan passed away on August 1, 2018 in Hesperia, Michigan from complications of esophageal cancer.

He was born October 16, 1942 in Williamston, Michigan to George R McGowan and Evelyn M (Estes) McGowan.

He was a veteran of the Viet Nam war, a farmer and dearly loved by his siblings, nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his siblings, Norman McGowan, Gordon (Mary) McGowan, Janice (James) Woodard, Ronda (Dan) Smith; and 8 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Dwaine and George McGowan.

A graveside service will be held on September 15, 2018  at 11:00 am at the West Hesperia Cemetery located on Loop Road.

A luncheon will immediately follow at the Hesperia American Legion Hall, 4075 S 198th Street, Hesperia, MI 49421.
