Ursula Robinson, 87 of Hart passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born April 13, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a young woman she was actively involved in many organizations in the U.S. Air Force. After she and her husband retired from the Air Force they purchased a small one-coffeepot cafe, the Golden Inn Restaurant in Mears. From 1971 - 1980, they grew this small business into a local popular full-fledged restaurant.
She was active at St. Gregory's Church for many years. She was employed by Nutritional Services of Older Americans, in charge of serving meals to the senior citizens of the area, until retirement in 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Raymond) Haynes, three granddaughters, Holly Cofer, April (Tim) Gum, Wendy Haynes (Kris Tower) and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 4th, 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.
