Thomas F. Fodrocy, age 78, of Shelby, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Shelby. He was born February 28, 1940 in Muskegon, the son of Frank and Eleanor (Scheppman) Fodrocy.
Tom was raised in Muskegon. He served in the National Guard in the 1960's. He moved to Shelby upon his marriage to Ann (Hallack) on August 26, 1972. He was a journeyman sheet metal worker and retired from East Muskegon Sheet Metal Co. Tom enjoyed restoring old cars and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; his children, Michelle (John) Stockwell, Brian Fodrocy (and Jennifer Lillie) and Kelly (Marco) Rossi; his grandchildren, Aidan Stockwell, Maria James and Trey James; his sisters, Sister Mary Fodrocy, Anne (Mike) Pawlowski, Sandy (Ed) Jasman and Jan Fodrocy (and Deb Austin); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister, Nancy.
Visitation is Thursday, February 14th, 5-8 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 15th, 11 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 7410 W. Johnson Road, Shelby, MI 49455. Please consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 as a memorial. Interment will be in Benona Township Cemetery in the Spring.
