Sandra Sheroky

Sandra M. Sheroky, age 64, of Rothbury, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at home following an illness of a year and a half.  She was born November 7, 1952 in Detroit to Edward and Stella (Saylor) Sheroky.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Nyman in January of this year.  She lived in St. Clair Shores and Dearborn Heights before living in Kentucky for a few years.  She moved to Rothbury in the late 1970's.  Sandra was Executive Assistant to the President at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for many years. 

Sandra was a beloved wife, mother, dog mom and friend.  She enjoyed spending time with her best friend, her daughter, Rachael.   She loved to garden and  take her dog, Beamer  two tracking.  She also enjoyed spending time at her cabin in Canada and  doing word search puzzles. Other past times included appreciating the simple beauty of old barns and painting bird houses and milk cans.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Rachael Nyman (and Bob Jewell); her lifelong friends, Mary Bohme, Mary Ellen Finn and Susan Hahn-Sands; and her beloved dog, Beamer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Jacob Nyman and her parents.
