SFC Christopher Fessenden

United States Army Sergeant First Class, Christopher Darrell Fessenden, age 42, of Fort Carson, Colorado and formerly of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Colorado.  He was born on September 3rd, 1975 in Texas to Darrell and Cheryl Fessenden.

He’s survived  by wife Barbara A. Fessenden, parents Darrell and Cheryl Fessenden of Michigan, brother Ernest and Angela Fessenden, nephews  Damian and Clint, daughter McKenzie Fessenden of Kansas, step daughter Niki Eubanks and children Alexia and Nicolas of Kansas, step daughter Courtney and Mark Brewer daughters Erica, Jaida and Addison of Kansas, step daughter Lacey Coleman of Kansas, granddaughters Gracie, Khloie, Paisley and Emma, mother and father in law, Robert and Sandra Mason of Alabama, sister and brother in law Melanie and Glenn Leach of Alabama. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by step son Paul Schulz Jr. (PJ). 

Visitation is Saturday, December 9th, 1 to 2 pm and the funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Dan Barnum-Steggerda officiating. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850 (fhf.convio.net) are appreciated.
