Lloyd D. Smith, age 54, of Rothbury, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born March 19, 1963 in Muskegon, the son of Robert A. Smith and Barbara J. (White) Smith.
Lloyd was raised in East Muskegon and Rothbury. He lived in Rothbury most of his life. He was employed at Kurdziel Iron Industries for eighteen years. Lloyd enjoyed hunting deer and small game and fishing. He also enjoyed doing mechanical work.
He is survived by his son, Lloyd "L.D." Smith, Jr. and his wife, Sara; grandchildren, Gavin Smith and Olivia Smith; and his mother, Barbara Smith. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Robert Joseph "Joe" Smith.
Visitation is Saturday, July 1st, 2 pm until the funeral service at 3 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.
