Leslie Olthoff Obituary

Leslie C. Olthoff,age 68, wife of Daryl Olthoff and mother of Carl (Tammy) Olthoff and Stacy Olthoff, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Traverse City, Michigan.  She was born December 22, 1949 in Hart, Michigan to Carlyle Reed and Carolyn (Gingway) Reed.

Leslie was raised in Elbridge Township and graduated from Hart High School in 1968.  She lived in Hesperia, Muskegon and in Northern Michigan the last twenty years.

Leslie was preceded in death by her daughter, Rickie Olthoff; her parents, Carlyle and Carolyn (Gingway) Reed; her sister, Elizabeth Way, and brothers, Roger Reed and Carlyle Reed Jr.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brody Reed and Rhys Olthoff; stepgrandchildren, Alana, Alexus and Andrew Javinsky; her sister, Carol Storms; and brothers, Michael (Lorraine) Reed, Rex (Linda) Reed, Kenneth Reed, William (Helena) Reed and Douglas (Laura) Reed; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 4th, 4-7 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.  The Funeral Mass for Leslie will be held Wednesday, December 5th, 11 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Shelby  with Father Norman Droski as Celebrant.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elbridge in the spring.  Please consider the Parkinson Foundation as a memorial.
