John Raeth

John Raeth, age 92, of Shelby passed away early Monday, March 4, 2019 at home.  He was born March 29, 1926 in Benona Township to William and Nettie (Curtis) Raeth.

John was a carpenter for Local 100 before his retirement. He was a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived his wife, Marion (Schultz) Raeth; his sons, Curt (Linda) Raeth, Mark Raeth and Tim Raeth; grandson, Cody Raeth; great-grandsons, Mitchell and  Mason Vandlen and Cooper Royce; great-granddaughters, Margaret and Natalie Royce; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Leah Royce.  

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, 1 p.m. at Benona Township Cemetery.
