Jody Lynn Love

Jody Lynn Love, age 42, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2019 in Shelby.  She was born September 7, 1976 in Muskegon to Joseph and Barbara (Uber) Love.  Jody was raised in Shelby and graduated from Shelby High School in 1994. 

Jody was a life resident of Shelby.  She enjoyed working in the hospitality/restaurant business.  She had been employed at Hackley Hospital, Stonegate Golf Course and most recently at Oceana Foods. She especially enjoyed working at Electric Forest.  

She is survived by her daughters, Jaelyn Marie Love and Mckaylla Janaé Love; her parents, Joseph and Barbara Love; her sisters, Laura Ann Love and Angela Marie Love-Darrow (and husband, Jeff Darrow); nephews, Marcus Morris (and Hannah), Joseph Morris (and Ashley), Christopher Love (and Mallory) and Cody Love (and Marybeth); and great-nieces, Kadence Morris and Makaylah DeWitt; and her best friend, Stefanie Bryce Bumstead. 

Visitation is Saturday, June 29th, 1 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby with a memorial service to follow at 2 pm also at the funeral home. Pastor Rob Henderson will officiate.  A luncheon will immediately follow at Shelby United Methodist Church.  Interment:  Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shelby.  Please consider Jaelyn and Mckaylla's college funds as a memorial.
