I met Joan at Friends of the Library and treasure our friendship. Joan was a compassionate and loving woman and she was the finest "Lady" I have known.
How fortunate you all were to have her for a mother and grandmother. She will be

Joan was a special lady to me and Dave. She has passed away but her memory still lives in our heart and mind. She will always be remember as a kind and loving person. Gone but not forgotten.

I am sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Celeste Fuller Bailey was my sister and spent a lot of time with your family and had such good memories of all of you and she thought the world of Joan. Celeste passed away in 2001 from cancer.

It was an honor to have worked with Joan. She was an inspiring mentor, a good listener and had a heart of gold. I admired her dedication to children and nature. I am blessed to have known Joan. She will be deeply missed.

Aunt Joan was a wonderful person and we will miss her. I have so many fond memories of her when I was young and at the cabin in Colorado.

It was a privilege to work with Joan at Oehrli Elementary School back in the 80’s and 90’s. What a gifted educator who truly cared about students and a highly respected staff member by all of her peers! You simply could not find a more caring, empathetic, and trusted professional team player in a school environment. She made all of us who worked with her better people by just knowing her. Thank you, Joan, for being such a positive influence to those of us who had the honor of calling you a colleague and friend!
