JoAnne "Jodi" Cram, age 79, of Shelby, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 in Grand Rapids. She was born February 16, 1939 in Jackson, Michigan to James Gephart and Phyllis (Beck). Joanne was raised in Mears and lived in Oceana County most of her life. She had resided at Silver Lake, Hart and Shelby.
JoAnne was a hairdresser and cosmetologist. She was employed at Bill Well's Barber Shop and for many years at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility. JoAnne also drove truck and did home health care for a short time. She enjoyed yard sales, doing puzzles and watching game shows.
She is survived by her companion of thirty-five years, Ken Ingalls; her children, Cheri (Tony) Gonzales, Marty (Renny) Harjes and Tammy (James) Leonard; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; her half-sister, Cheri; and her beloved dog, Romeo. JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Eddie Bitner.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 6th, 1 pm at Mears Cemetery followed at 2 pm by a celebration of JoAnne's life with a luncheon at John Gurney Park in Hart.
