Gerald Hallberg Obituary

Gerald A. Hallberg, age 70, of Branch, Michigan, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Ludington.  He was born July 17, 1949 in Muskegon, the son of Edward and Bernice Hallberg.

Jerry was raised in Ravenna and graduated from Orchard View High School.  Jerry was a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran.  He was past commander of the V.F.W. Post in Ravenna.

Jerry was a pattern maker, first at Seaway Pattern and later at Paragon Pattern in Muskegon.  He married Debra (Hawkins) on July 17, 1980.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; his sons, Gerald Hallberg and Jonathan (Kortni) Hallberg; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Riley, Alexx and Kasadi Hallberg; and his sisters, Velma (Ken) Patterson, Karen (Charlie) Wyant and Brenda Eadie.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation is Wednesday, October 16th, 11 am until the memorial service at twelve noon at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby with Pastor Mark Baker officiating.  Military honors will follow the service.  A luncheon will also follow at Shelby Road Baptist Church.  Please consider memorials to the American Cancer Society, 129 Jefferson S.E.
