Elmira C. LeFevre

Elmira C. LeFevre, age 88,of Walkerville, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 12, 1929 in Rockford, Michigan to Ceasar and Anna Bastien. Elmira was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 2011.

She is survived by her children, Arnold LeFevre (Jeanette Thompson), Daniel LeFevre (Ginger Pearson), Laura (Jeff) Parsons, Lonia (Rick) Chase, Linda (Steve) LaPreze, Lisa (Randy) Kelley, Loretta LeFevre (Kevin Brink), Luanna LeFevre, Ladonna (Rodney) Fisher, and Lucinda Knowles LeFevre (Doug England); and brothers, Velerian and Everitt; twenty-seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Mark and Monte LeFevre; sisters, Zettie Cousino, Verlie Therrien, Violia Eder and Evelyn Reaume; and brothers, Howard, Otto, Herkle, Cecil, and Royal Bastien.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 27th from 4 to 7 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.  The Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 6:30 pm.  The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 28th, 2 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Weare Twp. with Father Ron Schneider as Celebrant.  Graveside services and luncheon will follow the mass.  Interment:  Mt.
