Larry Henry Teichthesen

Larry Henry Teichthesen, 83, of New Era, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024.  He was born August 20, 1940, in Shelby, the son of Harry and Mirabel (Mikkelson) Teichthesen.

Larry worked at CWC TEXTRON for 28 yrs., retiring from there. Larry loved being around family and friends.  He was very proud and always willing to talk about his grandkids and their accomplishments. He was a great father to Troy, and an awesome grandfather to his granddaughters. Larry was always there for a helping hand around the family farm with his father and mother, and later with Troy when he took over the farm. Larry was a happy go lucky smiles and laughs guy, a positive person and just fun to be around. His love for Harley Davidsons and old muscle cars influenced his son Troy with the same passions. Larry was an active member at the White Lake Area Eagles, his social time there meant a lot to him in his later years. There he could see his friends and enjoy time talking and joking.

Larry is survived by: his son, Troy (Cindy) Teichthesen; step children, Dan (Kelly) Sharpe; granddaughters, Malory Teichthesen and Anna (Charlie) Cullen.

Larry was preceded in death by: his parents, Harry and Mirabel; his sister, Linda LeFever; and his granddaughter, Holley Teichthesen.

Per Larry’s wishes cremation has taken place, no services are scheduled at this time.

Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
